How Does Homepie's Negotiation Tool Work if There Are Multiple Offers?
If there are multiple offers, the seller may respond to all or none, at their option. If the seller responds to one or all, prior to effectuating a purchase contract, the seller will have the opportunity to review all the responses from the buyers and choose the one they want.
This is in contrast to the normal procedure when there is only one offer. When there is only one offer, if the seller counteroffers the buyer, and the buyer accepts, you will have a contract.
There is another possible scenario where there is one offer on a property. The seller counter offers the buyer and the buyer has not yet accepted. If another offer comes in before the buyer accepts, all parties will be notified that the counteroffer is automatically revoked, and multiple offer rules will now apply.
